Multi-Environment Release Management (MRM) is a comprehensive solution designed to provide safe and efficient content sharing across project spaces. With MRM, separate project spaces are created for various stages of the content development process, including development, testing, training, and production usage.
This approach is particularly useful for complex content that requires frequent updates and rigorous testing to ensure its quality and effectiveness. By separating these environments, MRM provides a more efficient and controlled process for deploying content, reducing the risk of errors or issues that could impact end-users.
Once the content is pushed from an upstream project space to a downstream project space, they become linked configurations. With the detailed exception-handling process, the overall result is a more efficient and streamlined process for pushing and syncing content while maintaining the safety and integrity of linked configurations and downstream project spaces.
With MRM, organizations can optimize their workflows and processes while ensuring the consistency and safety of their digital assets across all project spaces.
MRM is available on Advanced and Pro plans.
- With MRM, you can link many downstream project spaces to one upstream project space. However, you can only push content from one upstream project space to one downstream project space at a time. If you wish to push content from one upstream project space to multiple downstream Project Spaces simultaneously, you will need to upgrade to our Enterprise Plan to have access to Enterprise Release Management (ERM).
- To link Project Spaces with MRM, the user needs the Multi-Environment Release Management permission added to their role.
